fell into a fractal and got lost

(Yes I have copied and pasted some of this at =Fractal-Faces and =AllAboutTheChocolate too!)

The spinal-neuro doc sent us to neuro-muscular doc
who got mom an apptmt in IA City on an emergent basis..which short version means we still don't know-
the spinal compression was not enough to do the damage that is being done to my mothers body-
so much for a simple fix for poor mom!

lots more tests, and heavy duty prayers for this woman that has been so strong raising 4 daughters,
and has dealt with so much pain and so many obstacles in this life.
I will keep you all updated as much as I can.
I am still around and still okay-
just very busy with mom(would have it no other way!)
and frustrated with her puter setup!

placeholders, no css on any webs, buttons missing...etc!

upside is her puter WILL let me play with apo2.083d!!

AND getting some quality time with mom!

Busy and fiddling with much...is why you haven't seen me round much...

scanning through so much stuffs on 2 different puters...storing and deleting...still working on my free flame pack for =Fractal-Faces...fractaling and fiddling in apo...still trying to figure out why my renders take so long?

Survived the 6 inches of snow...thing about that is-this time of year it leaves quickly!!

and I am shortly going to do an "I Love...Feature"!
...found a doc full of thumbs I had forgotten about!...
I Got mah hubbys laundry done and now am working on mine and am trying to find the basement again...
that "out of sight-out of mind" pile is OUT OF CONTROL!!!

for your patience and support!!
Patience for the volume of my recent uploads-
and for all of the supportive fave bombing!!!
People faving and featuring my works STILL blows me away to THIS day!

I appreciate all the luffs more than you can ever know!!

And thank you as well for forgiving my disabling comments on most of them!
(which has enabled me to catch up on comments a bit!!)
I just am so busy other places,
and at reading journals and I will never catch up on galleries, but will keep trying!...There is no way I can possibly thank you individually for all the faves-nearly 1,000 in the last 2 weeks!
...and I have buried my brain in apo-tripping and tweaking!I have NO idea why things take so long to render...
I am rendering 3200x2400, 2000/0.3/1,
on a windows xp machine that isn't good for anything else...I heard a rumor the other day too-

The special theory of relativity...
The wave theory was wildly successful in explaining nearly all optical and electromagnetic phenomena, and was a great triumph of nineteenth century physics. By the late nineteenth century, however, a handful of experimental anomalies remained that could not be explained by or were in direct conflict with the wave theory. One of these anomalies involved a controversy over the speed of light. The constant speed of light predicted by Maxwell's equations and confirmed by the Michelson-Morley experiment contradicted the mechanical laws of motion that had been unchallenged since the time of Galileo, which stated that all speeds were relative to the speed of the observer. In 1905, Albert Einstein resolved this paradox by revising the Galilean model of space and time to account for the constancy of the speed of light. The use of negative space is a key element of artistic composition.

Apophysis users will notice that in some variations such as the fan,
waves, and popcorn, (to name a few) that when you drag the triangle,
you cross a distinctive void where the image will flicker-
this is where a few negative spaces live!

A Tribute to a Very Old Friend...

...the babbles...

....the story behind my love for Felix...
....Many moons ago a young girl had her heart broken...and in her efforts to get over it she lost MANY friends...But 1 stuck by her...never let her down...talked to her on the phone so she would do her dishes and not get grounded...played cards on free hour so she wouldn't skip school and get suspended...sat behind her in American History poking her in the back so she'd stay awake...even baked her pumpkin pie for her birthday present....shared lockers, to keep each other organized...
This friend he was from a very poor family...poverty stricken for so many generations far back that count was lost...he was of genius mentality..
was a straight A student and set to graduate with high honors...wanted to further his education in criminology and do something meaningful with his life!
He lived 8 miles from the library, and was riding his bike home from it one early spring eve, 30 years ago this week...
when a local physician attempted to pass a car, and hit this youngun' head on...
he laid braindead for 3 days before his family came to the decision to pull the plug.
I went to his visitation where he did not have his glasses on, but wore his cap and gown, that he never made it to graduation in...
I didn't have it in me to put him in the ground much less get out of bed that day...and when I went to school the day after?
that damn pumpkin pie plate was in our locker...
So-
