of White, Light and Negative Space!

I have long admired the skills required for using white extensively in fractals-
The use of Dark/black is so often used to,
highlight,contrast and create high drama-
that one so rarely thinks of white as a negative space!
And yes there will be an EditionII-
with excerpts on light-
and more white/light featured works!!

White is a color, the perception which is evoked by light that stimulates all three types of color sensitive cone cells in the human eye in near equal amount and with high brightness compared to the surroundings.
Since the impression of white is obtained by three summations of light intensity across the visible spectrum, the number of combinations of light wavelengths that produce the sensation of white is practically infinite.

Negative space, in art, is the space around and between the subject(s) of an image. Negative space may be most evident when the space around a subject, and not the subject itself, forms an interesting or artistically relevant shape, and such space is occasionally used to artistic effect as the "real" subject of an image. The use of negative space is a key element of artistic composition.
